 Case Studies from BIOMITRE and IEA Bioenergy TASK38 (Period 2001-2003)

 New Case Studies (Period 2004-2006) that highlight interesting examples of Bioenergy Systems around the world.

 IEA Task38 and BIOMITRE international partners conducted case studies to estimate the GHG mitigation potential for a range of biomass and bioenergy systems. The goal is to assess and compare the GHG balances of such projects, to increase experience in implementation of mitigation projects and programmes and to make recommendations for optimizations of these systems.

D3: Collation of Existing Case Study Data
D4: 22 Case Studies were evaluated for relevant data and information, that can be utilized in the BIOMITRE Software tool development. This collation activity focused on the four selected cases from IEA TASK 38: Finnish/Swedish, Croatian, Netherlands, UK.
